Golden Gate Transit Regional Bus Service Adjustments
Effective Sunday, March 12 & Monday, March 13, 2017 (español)
Golden Gate Transit regional bus schedules are adjusted quarterly to improve system efficiency.
- NOTE: Some schedules will be adjusted up to 20 minutes due to congestion and construction delays in the North Bay and San Francisco. **
Routes 4, 8, 27, 44, 70, 92, 101, and 101X
Schedules will be adjusted up to six minutes to improve connections and running times.
Route 2
Schedule adjustments up to 12 minutes.
Route 4
Southbound trips after 10 a.m. will operate from Battery Street to Clay Street to Davis Street, making stops at Clay & Front, Davis & California, Beale between Market & Mission, and Howard & Fremont. Stops at Battery & Sacramento, Battery & Pine, and 1st & Stevenson will NOT be served on these trips after 10 a.m. NOTE: This change has been in effect since Jan. 2017 as a temporary detour, but will be made permanent in March.
Route 8
Based on customer feedback, the northbound trip will be adjusted to depart the Financial District at 5:10 p.m.
Route 24/24X
Schedule adjustments.
Route 25
Eastbound trips will NO LONGER serve the stop at Sir Francis Drake Blvd & Barry Way (Eliseo Drive). Use stop at Sir Francis Drake Blvd & La Cuesta Dr instead. This change does NOT impact service to any westbound stops.
Route 27
Southbound trips after 10 a.m. will operate from Battery Street to Clay Street to Davis Street, making stops at Clay & Front, Davis & California, Beale between Market & Mission, and Howard & Fremont. Stops at Battery & Sacramento, Battery & Pine, and 1st & Stevenson will NOT be served on these trips after 10 a.m. NOTE: This change has been in effect since Jan. 2017 as a temporary detour, but will be made permanent in March.
Route 30
Schedule adjustments.
Route 72/72X
Southbound schedules will be adjusted up to 20 minutes EARLIER thru Sonoma County.
Route 76
Southbound schedules will be adjusted up to 10 minutes EARLIER thru Sonoma County.
Route 92
Northbound 6:01 pm trip will be added. This new trip replaces the cancelled Route 93 trip.
Route 93
Northbound 6:02 p.m. trip will be CANCELLED. See Route 92 for new added trip.

Golden Gate Ferry
Golden Gate Larkspur Ferry: Beginning Monday, March 27, a seasonal round trip will be added leaving Larkspur at 11:40 a.m. and departing San Francisco at 12:25 p.m. Golden Gate Sausalito Ferry: Schedules remain unchanged. Marin Transit schedules can be found at marintransit.org or in the Marin Transit Rider’s Guide.
