The Texas Eagle is a long distance Amtrak train service providing daily service between San Antonio and Chicago with stops in Dallas, Little Rock, and St. Louis. At San Antonio, some Texas Eagle rail cars continue to Los Angeles on Sunset Limited train 3 days a week.


Coach, dining, and sleeper cars are available. Reservation (seats are not to be overbooked) is required for this train.
