Weekend: Presidio of Monterey – Monterey Transit Plaza – Big Sur Ranger Station
Daily service Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Saturdays and Sundays only after Labor Day to Memorial Day weekend. No service on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.
As of September 2, 2017, service is suspended south of Big Sur Ranger Station due to the emergency closure of Pfeiffer Canyon Bridge. Regular service to Nepenthe and intermediate stops will continue when Caltrans reopens the bridge.
Line 22 trips may be cancelled, especially during winter and spring, due to inclement weather, high winds, or other severe conditions.
Entry onto the Presidio of Monterey requires a valid military/DOD employee badge or ID card.
Upon request on southbound trips, bus will stop for photographs at Bixby Creek Bridge.
