Sonoma County Transit has a zone fare system. The entire bus network has 14 fare zones. The longest bus line (60) travels across five fare zones.

On most routes, cash fares on the bus vary according to the number of zones traveled.

Some routes are considered "local" service and has a flat fare. Route 38 has its own cash fares to and from San Rafael.

20-Ride FastPASS

These passes provide 20 rides with no expiration date.

"Local" FastPASS is valid only on routes that charge "local" cash fares. FastPASS with 1 zone or more, called Countywide FastPASS, is valid on all routes for the number of zones purchased.

MonthlyPASS/31-DayPASS

Two types of pass are offered at the same price. MonthlyPASS is valid for the calendar month indicated. 31-DayPASS is valid after purchase for a 31 day period. The pass is valid on all routes and all fare zones.
