The Castro is the world famous gay village in San Francisco. The neighborhood is served by a number of transit routes. Parking is difficult and there are few off-street parking lots around.

Muni Metro
Muni Metro runs under Market Street through the Castro. The main stop is Castro Station under the intersection of Market and Castro streets. It is served by K, L, M, T, and S lines.
BART, Caltrain
At Civic Center Station, BART riders can transfer to Muni Metro to get to the Castro, or at 16th Street Mission Station via the 33 bus.
Caltrain riders can transfer to Muni Metro T at 4th & King Station.
Historic streetcar
F-Market & Wharves have stops along Market and 17th Street.
