How to take TRE
Before boarding the trains, buy your train ticket from a ticket machine or use GoPass Mobile Ticketing app. There are two fare zones in the TRE system with CentrePort station in the middle belonging to both zones. Tickets valid on the west fare zone (Fort Worth) is also valid on The T buses and tickets valid on the east zone (Dallas) are also good on DART buses and rail. Regional tickets/passes purchased on DART, The T, or DCTA are good on the entire TRE line.
TRE uses the proof of payment system and passengers caught without a valid ticket or pass are subject to eviction and/or citation.
Bicycle access
TRE trains allow bikes in the disabled area as long as it is not occupied.
Disabled access
TRE is accessible to people with disabilities at all stations. Mini-high platforms that provide wheelchair access are located on the east end of the platforms (toward Dallas) and have two levels (middle level for bi-level trains, high level for single level trains). To board trains, conductors will deploy a ramp to bridge the gap between the vehicle and the mini-high platform.
